For this script, I created during diploma for my Television Production class. This assignment thought me the general pre-production proposal, the production and the post-production.

This project revolves around the practices of filming in addition to my story being chosen as the subject of the film, which made it more meaningful for me personally. The story itself has aspects of realism that were inspired by several moments in my life and the lessons that came along with them and from there I aspire to share them with the audience. One of the important tools of storytelling with regards to filming is the camera; when I first held the camera with the intent to capture the essence of the story it gave me the drive to capture the needed shots and to follow through. Along with the project, to use the bare minimum skills I have is not enough hence I did a lot of research online through reading articles, watching award-winning short films and study the various methods of cinematography and film editing. Another tool that is important in this project was teamwork; though that it is a short film, the work was still difficult. To coordinate a number of people whilst simultaneously focus on my own task at hand was already quite a handful and required patience, especially when shooting certain shots that were only available in certain circumstances, such as daylight in bad weather, clear roads during peak hours and so on. It took a lot of practice and planning before actually getting the shots that we needed. This project also showed me a glimpse and an idea on how filming work; it gave me confidence in a sense that I perhaps am capable in pursuing filming for a career in the future. In doing this, it definitely sparked a major interest in potentially pursuing this for a career path.
